World Chess Champion Gukesh Dommaraju was seen enjoying a dessert platter on an Air India flight in a viral video posted online by pilot Laxmi Joshi. In the reel posted by pilot Joshi, Gukesh is seen having various delicacies, like cakes and pastries inside the flight. Gukesh Dommaraju also posed for pictures with the pilot. Laxmi Joshi, who was part of the Vande Bharat mission during the Covid-19 pandemic, posted the reel with the caption, "Had the honour of flying the World Chess Champion, Gukesh.". Joshi praised the Indian chess grandmaster Gukesh Dommaraju further, writing "Whether in the skies or across the chessboard — focus, strategy, and humility always triumph".
