There has been reports suggesting that the Asia Cup 2023 hosts PCB are all set to shift the venue of the Super Four stage matches to Hambantota following flood situation and heavy rain chances in Colombo. But reports has emerged with the suggestion that ACC President Jay Shah has informed that the matches will go forward as per schedule at Colombo. PCB is unhappy with the decision and has called a meeting in which the final decision of the venue selection is set to be taken.
