Former cricket Wasim Jaffer pointed out how Dinesh Karthik was hesitant to take the DRS which he wouldn't have been if he knw he edged the ball.
Dinesh Karthik got saved during the IPL 2024 Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru as he was controversially adjudged not out by the third umpire. A ball from Avesh Khan came in to hit him in the pads and Karthik was adjudged LBW by the on field umpire. He went for the review and the third umpire adjudged him not out as he saw a spike when his bat was beside the ball. He considered it as bat hitting the ball but it felt like that the bat struck the pads and the spike came from it. Former cricket Wasim Jaffer thought the same as the expressed in his post on social media. Jaffer also added that he felt the 'Third umpire got it wrong'.
