Kusal Perera has attained a massive milestone in his career as he now has become the highest run-scorer for Sri Lanka in T20 Internationals. The left-hander, who is one of the longest-serving players of the current Sri Lanka national cricket team, achieved this feat during the SL vs NZ 1st T20I 2024 in Dambulla. Kusal Perera achieved this mark by overtaking Tillakaratne Dilshan, who had scored 1889 runs in 80 T20I appearances. Kusal Perera had made his T20I debut in 2013 against Australia in Sydney.
