Former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting parted ways with Delhi Capitals as head coach after eight long seasons. Ponting went to the final of the IPL with Delhi Capitals but failed to win them a championship. After the IPL, Ponting won MLC 2024 as the coach of the Washington Freedom. In a recent interview ahead of the ENG vs AUS series, Ponting revealed that he might make a return to the IPL as the head coach of a franchise.
