The IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians saw batter Sai Sudharsan become the third batter to be retired out. The Gujarat Titans management decided to call the batsman to dugout due to his low strike-rate of 138.7. Sai Sudharsan was playing well but they needed to increase the run-rate, hence they decided to call Sudharsan back. During his stay at the crease, he scored 43 from 31 balls.
