Indian wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson has been ruled out from the ongoing IND vs SL T20I series. Samson injured his left knee while fielding in the IND vs SL 1st T20I at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Later scans revealed that Samson will not be able to take part anymore in the series. 29-year-old Vidarbha wicket-keeper batter Jitesh Sharma has been named as Samson's replacement. India will face Sri Lanka in the 2nd T20I match of the series today, January 05 at Maharashtra Cricket Association Ground, Pune.
