According to reports, the award has been secured by Rodri despite Vinicius Jr declared to be the winner by multiple reports earlier. As a gesture of protest, Real Madrid has refused to travel to Paris including the likes of club President Florentino Perez and other delegates. Vinicius Jr himself is also unlikely to travel as well.
