Neymar Jr took to social media to share an update on his injury that he suffered during Al-Hilal's 3-0 win over Esteghlal FC in the AFC Champions League Elite 2024-25. After being introduced into this game in the 58th minute, the Brazil national football team star had to be subbed off in the 87th owing to a thigh injury. However, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to share the status of his injury as he wrote, “I felt like a cramp but very strong! I will do exams and hope it’s nothing more. It’s normal for this to happen after 1 year, the doctors had already warned me, this is why I need to be careful and have more minutes to play”. It however remains to be seen the extent of this new injury to Neymar. Meanwhile, Al-Hilal continued their splendid run in the AFC Champions League Elite 2024-25, beating Esteghlal FC 3-0.
