The same goes for Slovenia as they also went goalless but defended well and did not concede a goal in the normal or extra time. As the game went into the stage of penalty shootout Ronaldo, Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes won it for Portugal as Slovenia scored none of theirs.
