Portugal have their first match of the UEFA Nations League 2024-25. Portugal beat Croatia 2-1 to win the match. Diogo Dalot broke the deadlock early after scoring for Portugal in the seventh minute. Cristiano Ronaldo then doubled the lead and completed his 900 career goals. Dalot also scored an own goal which brought Croatia a step closer. But Portugal defended well and did not let Croatia score another goal. Ronaldo's 900th career goal was assisted by Nuno Mendes.
