'Robbed' Fans React With Anger After Referee Disallows India's Goal Against Malaysia During Merdeka Tournament 2023 Semifinal
Lallianzuala Chaangte's shot hit the goalkeeper's legs and trickled over the goalline which should have been the 3rd goal for India. But the referee disagreed and disallowed the goal.
A controversy unfolded on the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur when Indian Football Team took on Malaysia in the Merdeka Tournament 2023 semifinal. India were not happy with the refereeing decisions since the start of the match and thing escalated when referee disallowed India's goal when the score was 3-2 as the linesman suggested him that the ball didn't cross the goal line. Indian footballers and coach protested but the goal was not given. Fans were completely baffled to see the decision and took to social media to share their thoughts.
