Julian Nagelsmann got off to a winning start as Germany head coach as his team beat USA 3-1 in an international friendly on October 15. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for the USMNT with a screamer in the 27th minute but Germany staged a remarkable comeback with Ilkay Gundogan drawing level 12 minutes later. Niklas Fullkrug then gave Germany the lead in the 58th minute before Jamal Musiala rounded off the scoring three minutes later. The Germany national football team has had poor performances in recent times but now have managed to stitch two wins in a row.
