The 24-year-old star forward has been fighting against racism for quite some time and showcased his support for fellow players after they were subjected to racial insults by fans at the Santiago Bernabeu. Meanwhile, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-0 to extend their lead at the top of the La Liga 2024-25 points table.
Vinicius Junior offered support to Lamine Yamal, Ansu Fati and Raphinha after the Barcelona trio were reportedly subjected to racial insults at the Santiago Bernabeu during the El Clasico in La Liga 2024-25 on October 27. The Real Madrid star forward, who has been one of the biggest voices behind the fight against racism, took to social media to express his support for the three Barcelona stars while also showing faith in the Madrid police identifying and punishing the guilty. In a post on 'X' he penned a post in Spanish, which in English, reads as, "It's regrettable what happened yesterday at the Bernabéu with racist insults. There is no place for these criminals in our society. All my support to Lamine, Ansu and Raphinha." Real Madrid had earlier condemned the racial abuse of players and stated that they the club investigating this case.
