Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will skip the Ostrava Golden Spike 2024 athletics meet following an abductor muscle injury. The event is scheduled for May 28, in Czechia, The organisers of the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold label event confirmed via official statement. The reigning Olympic and World champion suffered an adductor muscle injury during training. The 26-year-old, however, will be present as a guest for the 63rd edition of the annual athletics competition. He recently participated in a domestic competition in India and bagged Gold and Silver Medals as he prepares for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
