The Indian pair produced a solid show to book a spot in the semifinal of this event and one win away from assuring India a medal. Earlier, Rakesh Kumar and Sheetal Devi had set a Paralympic record with a combined score of 1399.
Sheetal Devi and Rakesh Kumar advance to the semifinal of the Mixed Team Compound Open para-archery event at the Paris Paralympics 2024 on September 2. The India duo outclassed Indonesia's Teodora Audi Ayudia Ferelly and Ken Swagumilang 154-143 to make it to the last four. Rakesh Kumar and Sheetal Devi will now take on Fatemeh Hemmati and Hadi Nori in the semifinal later tonight and a win, needless to say, will assure India of a medal in this event.
