Sheetal Devi produced a fantastic performance on day 1 of the Paris Paralympics 2024 as she finished on second position in the Women's Compound Open ranking round. Sheetal ended with a score of 703 which is 5 more than the previous World Record of 698 and Sheetal's personal best but Turkey's Oznur Cure trumped her to take the World Record with a score of 704. Sheetal's Indian compatriot Sarita Kumari finished on ninth position with a score of 682.
