Simran Sharma Wins Bronze Medal in Women's 200 M T12 Event at Paris Paralympics 2024, Clocks Personal Best Timing of 24.75 Seconds
The para-athlete had agonisingly missed out on a medal in the Women's 100m T12 event but put up a very memorable performance this time around to clinch a podium finish. India have had a splendid time at Paris Paralympics 2024 with the para-athletes breaking the nation's previous best medal tally of 19, way earlier.
Simran Sharma won the bronze medal in the Women's 200m T12 event at Paris Paralympics 2024. The para-athlete clocked a personal best timing of 24.75 seconds to secure a podium finish for India. She had earlier missed out on the bronze medal in the Women's 100m T12 event by a narrow margin but did not do so this time, ensuring what was a 28th medal for India. Later on, Navdeep Singh would go on to win India's 29th medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024 with a silver in the Men's Javelin Throw F41 event.
