Alexander Zverev Beats Karen Khachanov To Win Singles’ Gold Medal, Becomes First German Male Tennis Player To Do So
Zverev did not just become the first German man to win Olympic gold but also became the second German after Steffi Graff to win the top prize in singles' tennis competition, since 1988.
Alexander Zverev capped off his dominance in tennis at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 by winning the gold medal, defeating Karen Khachanov 6-3, 6-1 in the men's singles final on Sunday, August 1.
