Manpreet Singh, Indian hockey team captain and veteran boxer Mary Kom, were earlier chosen to be the flag bearers for the country in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. India have sent a total of 127 athletes in the Summer Games--their largest contingent in the history of the competition.
