The airbases hit were Belaya (Irkutsk), Olenya (Murmansk), Dyagilevo (Ryazan), and Ivanovo, located thousands of kilometres from Ukraine. Ukrainian officials described the strike as “strategic bombers burning en masse,” dealing a severe blow to Russia’s air power.
