Sydney Reports 2 Cases of Omicron COVID-19 Variant, NSW Confirms Two Overseas Travellers Have Tested Positive
Near about 260 passengers and air crew on the flight are considered close contacts and have been directed to isolate by the authorities.
NSW Health has confirmed that two overseas travellers who arrived in Sydney from southern africa on Saturday have tested positive for the New COVID-19 variant ‘Omicron’. The two positive cases are in isolation in the Special Health Accommodation. Both are fully vaccinated.
