21 Feb, 21:49 (IST)

A 30-run partnership between Rahmat Shah and Noor Ahmad put Afghanistan close to 200-run mark. Shah batting on 83 has formed small partnerships with the tail-enders helping the side minimise the 'losing' margin .

21 Feb, 21:31 (IST)

Out! Looking to smash the ball over the fence, the star spinner finds the fielder this time and South Africa is now just two wickets away from victory.  Rashid was beaten in the flight, but still went through with the shovel. Dragged it off the bottom of the bat and lobs a simple catch to Markram at mid-wicket. Rashid Khan c Aiden Markram b Keshav Maharaj 18 (13).

21 Feb, 21:21 (IST)

With the required run rate over 10 runs per over, Afghanistan is now looking to hit every lose delivery. Rashid Khan in particular is looking to score maximum off every ball and having fun in the middle.

21 Feb, 21:14 (IST)

50 for Rahmat Shah! A Brilliant knock by the experienced batter with wickets falling at the other end. This is his 31st Fifty for Rahmat shah who has been a sole fighter in the game. even though Afghanistan has nearly lost the game, Rahmat's innings might inspire them to perform better in the upcoming fixtures.

21 Feb, 20:55 (IST)

Out! Its Marco Jansen again. Few overs ago his direct hit claimed wicket of Sediqullah Atal's Wicket, now with the ball Jansen picks up wicket of Mohammad Nabi who was lookingto provide some support to Rahmat Shah. Mohammad Nabi c Kagiso Rabada b Marco Jansen 8 (17).

21 Feb, 20:34 (IST)

21 Feb, 20:16 (IST)

Giving little away to the opposition, the south African bowlers maintained a pressure on the Afghanistan batters. With four early wickets the south African side will hope to better its record on the Karachi ground while the Afghan side will have to wait for its first win at the venue.

21 Feb, 19:54 (IST)

4-run per over! That's what the Afghanistan is at the moment but importantly the side kept wickets in hand. Sediqullah Atal and Rahmat Shah will look to steady the run-flow.

21 Feb, 19:23 (IST)

With a mammoth 316-run target, the Afghanistan side needed a strong start. But South African bowling attack kept them in check and  already has picked up an wicket.

Out! South Africa gets an early wicket with Ngidi dismissing Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Gurbaz had walked down the pitch, got into a slightly awkward position on the pull, pops off the top-edge and lobs towards Maharaj at short fine, was dying onto him, but he runs forward, dives and completes a fine catch. A body blow for AFG, they've relied on Gurbaz to give them fast starts in big chases. Rahmanullah Gurbaz c Keshav Maharaj b Lungi Ngidi 10 (14)

21 Feb, 18:17 (IST)

A good total considering the slow start. Ryan Rickelton scored century, playing a 'matured' knock while Aiden Markram and van der Dussen's explosive half centuries help South Africa to put a strong performance late in the game. Afghanistan managed to put some breaks on the Proteas advancements with timely wickets. Mohammad Nabi took two wickets and was economical also.

21 Feb, 18:05 (IST)

South Africa lost two quick wickets with batters trying to hit ball hard. Aiden Markram, middling every shot well is batting on 49 while David Miller and Marco Jansen has to walk back to the dressing room.

21 Feb, 17:57 (IST)

That is what fans are here to watch - some eye-catching shots, some cheeky boundaries and glass shattering sixes. South Africa is now closing on 325+ run mark and will look to put opposition under pressure early on.

21 Feb, 17:42 (IST)

With 250-mark already crossed and seven overs remaining in the innings, experienced pair of David Miller and Aiden Markram will look to stay in the middle and collect maximum runs possible for their side.

21 Feb, 17:39 (IST)

Out! Again an unfortunate dismissal halting South Africa's progress. van der Dussen was looking to clear the rope once again but finds top edge and hands and easy catch to the fielder.
