A frustrating day for an Indian fan. After many rain-breaks during the day, the first blood was when Kohli ran out Pujara. After then, no other Indian batsman could uncover the magic spell England's bowlers' cast over them.

England team will be a happy unit, with the performances of their bowlers. It will be interesting to see how the Indian bowlers fare tomorrow.

Do join us tomorrow for the Day 3 action | Match State: STUMPS!

Anderson snares another five-for and another mention for him on the honours' board at Lord's Stadium. Ishant Sharma is the last wicket to be OUT! and he, like his teammates, played it with the pad instead of the bat.

India is ALL-OUT! for 107! | Anderson's match figures: 13.2-5-20-5.

Stuart Broad has his first wicket today. Now, R Ashwin thinks the DRS! might save him, but it is not going to happen, as it is PLUMB LBW!

Broad bowls a lovely inswinger and Ashwin fails to connect the ball. He eventually misses and the umpire gave him OUT! immediately.

India is 9 down, and it seems the ordeal might just end soon. Ishant Sharma is the new man in.

Anderson bowls another beauty that raps Kuldeep Yadav on the pads. Yadav was playing across the line and is given LBW OUT! by umpire Aleem Dar. Yadav calls for REVIEW! immediately. The DRS! too confirms that he is OUT!

India is 8 down, Mohd. Shami is the new man in. How many more runs to be added before the day is called-off?

Anderson strikes, RAHANE IS CAUGHT OUT TOO! India's seventh wicket and last specialist batsman is back in the dressing room. It will be interesting to see if Ashwin and Kuldeep, the new batsman at the crease, are able to sail India through.

The pack of cards might take more time to fall than the Indian team is taking at the iconic Lord's stadium. Another wicket falls, this time it is Dinesh Karthik. Sam Curran bowls him through the gates.

Lovely swing and disciplined bowling from England here. Ravichandran Ashwin is the new man in. Can he support Rahane who is on the other end?

After a couple of flying edges, Hardik Pandya runs out of luck. The all-rounder falls to rising-swinging delivery and is finally CAUGHT! in the slip cordon.

The Indian batting unit has fallen apart, again. The gamble to promote Pandya fails, big time. Dinesh Karthik is the new man in.

Chris Woakes bowls a full-length swinging delivery, and Kohli departs. The Indian skipper couldn't do much of the reprieve that he got earlier. Woakes is elated, and so is the England team.

India's best batsman is back in the hut, will other batsman step up? HP is the new batsman in.

James Anderson to continue to Ajinkya Rahane, under what seems to be the sunniest sky in last three days. No runs off the over as PLAY RESUMES at Lord's.

The persistent rains have marred the second day of the Lord's Test Match. The Indian team were tottering on 15/3 after 8 overs when the rain interrupted play again, earlier today.

Early Lunch and Tea Breaks have been taken and the next inspection will take place in the next 30 minutes, i.e. at 9.30 PM (IST).

India will lock horns with England in the second Test match at Lord’s Stadium, starting August 9. The Day 1 of the game was washed out due to persistent rain throughout the day. With four days remaining in the Test match, both India and England will be looking to aggressive from the first ball. Will weather conditions play a spoilsport, today, too?

The toss will be crucial for the teams, with conditions being favourable to bowlers on the first two days. Be it England captain Joe Root or India captain Virat Kohli, bowling first would be the likely decision for any captain.

The England team will see a couple of changes in the side, Ollie Pope and Chris Woakes will be playing instead of Dawid Malan and Ben Stokes. As for India, Kohli faced a lot of flak for his team selection in the first Test match.

The Indian team lost the first Test match by only 31 runs and would be looking to make amends in the second test match to bring their campaign back on track. Come Friday, it will be interesting to see both the sides compete at the ‘Mecca of Cricket’, as say fondly call the Lord’s Stadium.
