After rain washed out the entire first session, it took India just 4.3 overs to wrap things up. With this win, India now take an Unassailable lead of 2-1 in the four-match series. Jasprit Bumrah was superb throughout the Test as he picked nine wickets in the match. It is a good end to 2018 for team India .

India is on the verge of the victory in the third Test match against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). However, only two things can stop the visitors to go 2-1 up in the 4-match Test series firstly, if Pat Cummins stitch two significant partnerships to scale the remaining 141 runs, which is next to impossible. If the above two things don’t happen on the final day of the 2018 Boxing Day Test at the MCG, India will be going up 2-1 in the Test series.
