MS Dhoni had already shown the glimpse of the vintage version of himself during India vs Australia 2019 ODI series. Yesterday, during the first ODI between India and New Zealand, the former Indian captain did not get to bat. But, his wicketkeeping duties once again left his fans in awe. MS Dhoni once again displayed his lighting quick stumping skills and sent Lockie Ferguson packing for a duck. Yadav bowled a beautiful delivery which was a bit tossed up and Ferguson missed the line. Dhoni who got the ball, as usual, made no mistake with his stumping and clipped the bails without batting an eyelid. The wicketkeeper-batsman once again exhibited his presence of mind. The Kiwis were bundled out on the score of 156 runs. The video of Dhoni’s stumping went viral and was shared by man social media pages. Check out the video below:

Later in the innings, Dhoni plotted the dismissal of Trent Boult and asked Kuldeep Yadav to bowl a doosra. Yadav, as instructed came round the wicket and Boult got trapped handing over the catch to Rohit Sharma in the first slip. Kuldeep snapped four vital wickets and India won the game comprehensively by 8 wickets with 85 balls remaining. Mohammed Shami who snapped three wickets went on to become the fastest bowler to get 100 wickets breaking the record of Irfan Pathan.
