Out! That's It. Pakistan win the UAE Tri-Series 2025 title and they have dominated the final. After the first innings it seemed like the pitch was difficult but Afghanistan were strongly in the game. But once Mohammad Nawaz was introduced, he scalped four wickets in six balls to tilt the game strongly towards Pakistan. The rest of it was a formality. Out! Pakistan are one wicket away from victory and the title here. Noor Ahmad had no option but to go hard against Sufiyan Muqeem, doesn't get it right and the circle fielder runs back to grab the ball which got skied by Noor. Out! Rashid Khan departs after a short cameo. He tried his best with a few big shots but it was too big a target he was chasing, Ends up playing one shot too many and it is the day of Mohammad Nawaz. Out! Another one bites the dust. Abrar Ahmed strikes this time. Afghanistan had no clue how to deal with Pakistan's spin attack and it showed in how they kept losing wickets. Out! Mohammad Nawaz's entry has shaken the core of the Afghanistan batting. With the wicket of Ibrahim Zadran, he completed his hattrick and in the same over he also dismissed Karim Janat, scalping four wickets in just six deliveries. Out! Hat-Trick! Mohammed Nawaz sticks to the same line and the ball turns away from Ibrahim Zadran who is overbalanced and wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris does a clean job taking the bails off. Out! Two in two. Mohammad Nawaz is off and he should be. Nice length ball on the off-stump, Azamtullah Omarzai gets lured into the cut but the length was slightly fuller for it. Out! Pakistan get a major breakthrough during the powerplay. It is the dangerman Sediqullah Atal who departs. Tries to drive a floaty delivery from Abrar Ahmed. Out! Rahmanullah Gurbaz's poor outing in the UAE Tri-Series continues. Back of a length outside off, Gurbaz tries the late cut but only manages an edge that flies to the hands of the slip fielder. Early breakthrough for Pakistan and Shaheen Shah Afridi is elated. Gurbaz c Sahibzada Farhan b Shaheen Afridi 5(4).

Pakistan will be slightly relieved to get about 40 runs in the last four overs and from the situation they were in after 16 overs. Mohammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf played impactful cameos and so did Salman Ali Agha who landed some crucial blows. Pakistan have crawled their way to a competitive score and they will back themselves to challenge Afghanistan with their spinners with the conditions heavily tilted towards spinners. 

Out! Mohammad Nawaz departs. He has also played a good hand to boost the score to some extent. Hits a six in the last over off Fazalhaq Farooqi, then in the next ball, targets the mid-wicket area again. This time he doesn't get enough and gets caught near the boundary line. Out! Faheem Ashraf departs after a short and impactful cameo. Allah Ghazanfar gets the off-break to turn and Ashraf prods at it trying it to push it to the square region, gets a nick and wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz holds on to a good catch. Faheem Ashraf c Gurbaz b AM Ghazanfar 15(8).

Out! Salman Ali Agha had thrown the kitchen sink against Rashid Khan and after limited success, he had to depart. Salman slog swept Rashid for two sixes and in the third attempt, he finally got a top edge which was grabbed by the short third man. Pakistan has barely been able to break through the tremendous pressure created on them by the Afghanistan spin troika. After Rashid Khan removed himself from attack, Allah Ghazanfar returned and he barely gave any lose delivery. On the other end Noor Ahmad was devastatingly deceptive to pick. Pakistan are suffocated for runs here. 

Out! Another one bites the dust. The spin twins are tightening their grip on the game and the Pakistan players. Noor Ahmad keeps the ball wicket to wicket and Mohammad Haris slogs. Out! Rashid Khan strikes again. Hasan Nawaz never looked like he will be able to soak the pressure and he fails. Goes for wild slog, doesn't get enough and the ball just goes up. Out! Afghanistan's two key weapons, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad has turned the game in Afghanistan's favour. They have dismissed the two set batters Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman and kept the newcomers under pressure. Noor's ball stopped a little for Saim when he went for a push and the catch went to the hands of Rashid Khan. Meanwhile, Rashid Khan himself trapped Fakhar LBW right in front. Pakistan need a rebuild phase here. Fakhar Zaman lbw b Rashid Khan 27(26) and Saim Ayub c Rashid Khan b Noor Ahmad 17(19).

Despite the wicket of Sahibzada Farhan, Pakistan have got off to a steady start and have set themselves a moderately good platform in the powerplay. Saim Ayub has allowed himself time on the crease and focused on timing while Fakhar Zaman attacked the bowlers he considered he could go after. Things will be tricky for Pakistan from here on. 

Out! Perfect start for Afghanistan. They wanted at least two wickets in the powerplay without much damage and they got one. Fazalhaq Farooqi is the one to strike.
