Out! That's It. Pakistan win the UAE Tri-Series 2025 title and they have dominated the final. After the first innings it seemed like the pitch was difficult but Afghanistan were strongly in the game. But once Mohammad Nawaz was introduced, he scalped four wickets in six balls to tilt the game strongly towards Pakistan. The rest of it was a formality. 07 Sep, 23:50 (IST)

Out! Pakistan are one wicket away from victory and the title here. Noor Ahmad had no option but to go hard against Sufiyan Muqeem, doesn't get it right and the circle fielder runs back to grab the ball which got skied by Noor. Afghanistan are collapsing like a pack of cards and Pakistan are on the top. Noor Ahmad c Abrar Ahmed b Sufiyan Muqeem 3(6).

07 Sep, 23:42 (IST)

Out! Rashid Khan departs after a short cameo. He tried his best with a few big shots but it was too big a target he was chasing, Ends up playing one shot too many and it is the day of Mohammad Nawaz. Miscues it in the hand of the deep fielder and his innings comes to an end. Nawaz completes his five-wicket haul. Noor Ahmad c Abrar Ahmed b Sufiyan Muqeem 3(6).

07 Sep, 23:37 (IST)

Out! Another one bites the dust. Abrar Ahmed strikes this time. Afghanistan had no clue how to deal with Pakistan's spin attack and it showed in how they kept losing wickets. It was short ball and wide, Mohammad Nabi slaps it but the ball travels straight to the hands of the cover fielder. Nabi c Salman Agha b Abrar Ahmed 3(10).

07 Sep, 23:26 (IST)

Out! Mohammad Nawaz's entry has shaken the core of the Afghanistan batting. With the wicket of Ibrahim Zadran, he completed his hattrick and in the same over he also dismissed Karim Janat, scalping four wickets in just six deliveries. Pakistan are on top of the game and are favourites to win it now. Karim Janat lbw b Nawaz 0(3).

07 Sep, 23:14 (IST)

Out! Hat-Trick! Mohammed Nawaz sticks to the same line and the ball turns away from Ibrahim Zadran who is overbalanced and wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris does a clean job taking the bails off. It is a hat-trick for Mohammad Nawaz who dismissed Darwish Rasooli and Azmatullah Omarzai in his last over. Pakistan are dominating here. Ibrahim Zadran st Mohammad Haris b Nawaz 9(15).

07 Sep, 23:10 (IST)

Out! Two in two. Mohammad Nawaz is off and he should be. Nice length ball on the off-stump, Azamtullah Omarzai gets lured into the cut but the length was slightly fuller for it. Ends up nicking it into the hands of the wicketkeeper. Big wicket this and Pakistan now have things in control. Azmatullah c Mohammad Haris b Nawaz 0(1).

07 Sep, 23:07 (IST)

07 Sep, 23:01 (IST)

The ball ends up being uppish and the cover fielder takes a good catch. Key wicket scalped by Pakistan. Sediqullah Atal c Faheem Ashraf b Abrar Ahmed 13(15).

07 Sep, 22:54 (IST)

Out! Rahmanullah Gurbaz's poor outing in the UAE Tri-Series continues. Back of a length outside off, Gurbaz tries the late cut but only manages an edge that flies to the hands of the slip fielder. Early breakthrough for Pakistan and Shaheen Shah Afridi is elated. Gurbaz c Sahibzada Farhan b Shaheen Afridi 5(4).

07 Sep, 22:21 (IST)

Pakistan will be slightly relieved to get about 40 runs in the last four overs and from the situation they were in after 16 overs. Mohammad Nawaz and Faheem Ashraf played impactful cameos and so did Salman Ali Agha who landed some crucial blows. Pakistan have crawled their way to a competitive score and they will back themselves to challenge Afghanistan with their spinners with the conditions heavily tilted towards spinners.

07 Sep, 22:16 (IST)

Out! Mohammad Nawaz departs. He has also played a good hand to boost the score to some extent. Hits a six in the last over off Fazalhaq Farooqi, then in the next ball, targets the mid-wicket area again. This time he doesn't get enough and gets caught near the boundary line. His innings has provided impact. Nawaz c Ibrahim Zadran b Fazalhaq Farooqi 25(21).

07 Sep, 22:11 (IST)

Out! Faheem Ashraf departs after a short and impactful cameo. Allah Ghazanfar gets the off-break to turn and Ashraf prods at it trying it to push it to the square region, gets a nick and wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz holds on to a good catch. Faheem Ashraf c Gurbaz b AM Ghazanfar 15(8).

07 Sep, 22:05 (IST)

Out! Salman Ali Agha had thrown the kitchen sink against Rashid Khan and after limited success, he had to depart. Salman slog swept Rashid for two sixes and in the third attempt, he finally got a top edge which was grabbed by the short third man. Afghanistan keep their spin choke on. Salman Agha c AM Ghazanfar b Rashid Khan 24(27).

07 Sep, 21:59 (IST)

Pakistan has barely been able to break through the tremendous pressure created on them by the Afghanistan spin troika. After Rashid Khan removed himself from attack, Allah Ghazanfar returned and he barely gave any lose delivery. On the other end Noor Ahmad was devastatingly deceptive to pick. Pakistan are suffocated for runs here.

07 Sep, 21:41 (IST)

Out! Another one bites the dust. The spin twins are tightening their grip on the game and the Pakistan players. Noor Ahmad keeps the ball wicket to wicket and Mohammad Haris slogs. Missed it completely and his stumps get rattled. Pakistan are in deep trouble here and need something to breakaway from this pressure. Mohammad Haris b Noor Ahmad 2(3).

07 Sep, 21:35 (IST)

Out! Rashid Khan strikes again. Hasan Nawaz never looked like he will be able to soak the pressure and he fails. Goes for wild slog, doesn't get enough and the ball just goes up. Fielder runs in and takes an easy catch in the end. Pakistan are under a lot of pressure now. Hasan Nawaz c Darwish Rasooli b Rashid Khan 15(8).

07 Sep, 21:28 (IST)

Out! Afghanistan's two key weapons, Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad has turned the game in Afghanistan's favour. They have dismissed the two set batters Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman and kept the newcomers under pressure. Noor's ball stopped a little for Saim when he went for a push and the catch went to the hands of Rashid Khan. Meanwhile, Rashid Khan himself trapped Fakhar LBW right in front. Pakistan need a rebuild phase here. Fakhar Zaman lbw b Rashid Khan 27(26) and Saim Ayub c Rashid Khan b Noor Ahmad 17(19).

07 Sep, 21:08 (IST)

Despite the wicket of Sahibzada Farhan, Pakistan have got off to a steady start and have set themselves a moderately good platform in the powerplay. Saim Ayub has allowed himself time on the crease and focused on timing while Fakhar Zaman attacked the bowlers he considered he could go after. Things will be tricky for Pakistan from here on.

07 Sep, 20:40 (IST)

Out! Perfect start for Afghanistan. They wanted at least two wickets in the powerplay without much damage and they got one. Fazalhaq Farooqi is the one to strike. Farhan goes across the line, missed the ball completely and his stumps get rattled. Afghanistan will want to build the pressure on from here. Sahibzada Farhan b Fazalhaq Farooqi 0(3).

Since both teams have played against each other twice and won one game each, it will be an exciting clash in the final. Why Asia Cup 2025 Will Be Played in T20I Format? Here's the Reason for Continental Competition's Change of Format This Year.

Pakistan national cricket team have performed well under their captain Salman Ali Agha. Except for the one match they slipped up against Afghanistan, Pakistan have even bailed themselves out from pressure situations. Specially against UAE in the second round of games, Pakistan were in pressure after losing five wickets quickly, but Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Nawaz kept grinding and, in the end, made sure they set a solid total on board. Abrar Ahmed came in for Sufiyan Muqeem and impressed straightaway. Salman Ali Agha would be confident of all the weapons in his hand but at the same time will ne worried about the collapse the team suffered in the last two games.

Afghanistan national cricket team on the other hand, will be confident entering the final as they are coming in with victories in three consecutive games. They have found a formula to be competitive in these conditions and they executed it to perfection last time they faced Pakistan. They are looking for a partnership between the two of their top three, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Sediqullah Atal and Ibrahim Zadran. Once their is a platform to launch, the likes of Azmatullah Omarzai, Karim Janat and Rashid Khan can show their power-hitting and lead their team to a solid total. Against the three-man attack of Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, it will be a challenge for Pakistan to challenge that target. Rashid Khan, as a captain, will look to replicate the same in the final. Is Asia Cup 2025 Live Telecast Available on DD Sports, DD Free Dish and Doordarshan National TV Channels in India?
