DC Win By 6 Wickets | PBKS vs DC Highlights of IPL 2025: Sameer Rizvi's Sensational Half-Century Powers Delhi Capitals to Clinical Victory

Solid win for Delhi Capitals. It came due to sensational knock of Sameer Rizvi, which was also his maiden half-century. Came to the crease when Delhi Capitals were under pressure and kept ticking the scoreboard off regularly and even broke through the pressure after his partnership with Karun Nair broke. Finished the innings in style too with a six. With this loss, Punjab Kings' top two hopes took a big hit. 

Maiden half-century for Sameer Rizvi. Played a brilliant knock and powered Delhi Capitals to a position from where they can win the game. Regularly stepped up to get the one or two boundaries in the over and at the moment when Karun Nair was dismissed, Rizvi made sure DC did not get under too much pressure. Completed half-century on the way. 

Out! Karun Nair plays one shot too many. He was playing the across the line sweeps well and targeting the empty area on the fine leg. Tries one more time but Harpreet Brar anticipates it and bowls really full. Nair doesn't get the length he was expecting and gets cleaned up. Karun Nair b Harpreet Brar 44(27) .

After the wicket of Sediqullah Atal. Delhi Capitals has searched for some boundaries and shift the momentum of the game. Karun Nair and Sameer Rizvi has landed some boundaries. Meanwhile, Punjab Kings look to get a quick wicket and open up the game. Shreyas Iyer will want his bowlers to deliver here. 

Out! Sediqullah Atal departs. Got a life last over, got a six next ball and then perishes. Goes for the big shot again, Praveen Dubey's ball was flighted and he gets holed out at the deep. Delhi Capitals have slowed down a bit after the two wickets Punjab Kings scalped. Currently they are looking to stitch a partnership with occasional boundaries in between. Last game there was a collapse and hence, DC are cautious to make sure they get a platform before launching. 

Out! Harpreet Brar delivers with a crucial wicket again. Faf du Plessis was looking good and was looking to take the game deep. A fantastic knock of 44 runs off only 16 balls from Marcus Stoinis and he helps Punjab Kings finish on a high. On two occasions it looked like PBKS can end with less than 200, but both times Stoinis brought a big over home to take them over 200. Punjab Kings will be happy with their bowling effort and will back themselves to defend it. 

Out! Two wickets in one over and some relief for Delhi Capitals. The over started with another drop when Mohit Sharma dropped Marcus Stoinis. But the next ball Shreyas Iyer got dismissed and in the same over Azmatullah Omarzai also got caught at the deep mid-wicket. Azmatullah c Sameer Rizvi b Kuldeep Yadav 1(3) and Shreyas Iyer c Mohit Sharma b Kuldeep Yadav 53(34).

Out! Cleaned him up. Vipraj Nigam wins the duel in the end. Prabhsimran Singh tried to be creative but only missed the googly and ended up getting bowled. Out! Josh Inglis was looking very good but couldn't make his innings big. Stepped out to take on the leg spinner Vipraj Nigam, Nigam spotted him jumping out early and bowled wide.
