Delhi were in trouble, but a sensational knock from Rishabh Pant has really given the away side a fighting chance here. The tourists lost both their openers early, but a fifty-stand between Iyer and Pant shored things up. Then the former and Maxwell departed in quick succession, and Delhi were 105/4, but the Pant show followed after that. Not sure what came over him, but the southpaw let it loose and took the attack to the Bangalore bowlers. His 85 saw Delhi crossing the 170-mark and be in a position to put up a fight at the very least.
