West Indies tour of India 2019

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are the top-two leading run-scorers in T20 Internationals and hence are the main reason India’s good show in the shortest international format. On the other hand, West Indies are defending champions of the T20 World Cup and hence can’t be taken lightly.

India comes into the series as the fifth-ranked team in T20Is while West Indies is placed on the tenth spot. Interestingly, even if India manages to beat West Indies 3-0, there won’t be any change in their position on the ICC T20I rankings.

Tale of this banter commenced when Pollard unfollowed Rohit of Twitter. Fans suspected that things might have got cold between the two IPL-mates. However, it proved to be a well-planned move to create a sort of drama ahead of India vs West Indies series 2019.

The first T20I of the upcoming series against West Indies will now be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on December 6. The match was originally scheduled to be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on December 6.

In fact, Samson says that he wants to sit down with coach Shastri and skipper Virat Kohli and speak about the road ahead. "I am looking forward to this as I haven't got an opportunity to do that. I am looking forward to go and speak to them," he revealed.
