The reorganisation targets legacy Siri architecture rather than the newly developed, AI-infused version of the assistant unveiled at recent developer events. Scaling Back Vision Pro Gaming and Immersive Video
Another 100 positions were eliminated from the Vision Pro mixed-reality division. Under the updated roadmap, Apple is largely shutting down its dedicated Vision Pro gaming team and downsizing the internal unit responsible for producing immersive 3D video content. High production costs - with individual cinematic episodes running into millions of dollars - prompted the adjustment amid slower-than-expected user adoption for the high-end headset.
