Mumbai, July 25: HMD India has launched its new HMD Crest series in India with a 50MP AI front camera. The new HMD Crest series includes two smartphones - HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max. Both of these smartphones come with a dual-camera modules on the rear and a selfie camera on the front. HMD India also announced that these new Crest series smartphones will offer a "Hands-Free Selfie" feature that will help them take portrait photos from the front camera using pre-defined hand gestures.
HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max have sleek designs and offer segment-leading performance, a powerful 50MP selfie camera, and an OLED screen. The smartphones are launched under INR 20,000 and have a segment-specific processor, batteries, designs, and other specifications. HMD Crest, HMD Crest Max Specifications, Design and Features
HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max have a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution. The display's refresh rate is 120Hz, which offers a smoother scrolling experience. The Crest series from HMD India is powered by the UnisocT760 octa-core processor, which is claimed to offer more than 5,10,000 AnTuTu scores.
The HMD Crest series comes with 6GB RAM, and with 6GB virtual RAM added, it offers a total of 12GB RAM for multitasking purposes. The HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W charging, which is included in the box. The HMD Crest offers a 50MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP lens on the rear and a 50MP front-facing camera. The HMD Crest Max comes with a 64MP primary camera, a 5MP camera and a 2MP camera on the rear. The front camera on the Max variant remains the same. The HMD Crest price in India starts at INR 14,499 for a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. On the other hand, the HMD Crest Max price in India starts at INR 16,499, and it is available in an 8GB+256GB variant.
