Mumbai, March 28: OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus Nord 6 will launch in India on April 7 at 7 pm IST. The upcoming handset serves as the successor to the Nord 5, which debuted in July 2025. Ahead of the launch, a dedicated microsite on Amazon has confirmed key design elements and hardware specifications for the new device.
The smartphone will be available in three colour finishes: Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver. While the company has not yet detailed the nature of the launch event, the proceedings are expected to be streamed via its official social media channels and YouTube. Although official pricing remains under wraps until the launch date, industry estimates suggest the OnePlus Nord 6 will be positioned between INR 35,000 and INR 40,000. Reports indicate a price hike compared to its predecessor, with the new model expected to carry a premium of INR 3,000 to INR 5,000 over the Nord 5’s starting price of INR 31,999.
In addition to Amazon, the device will be sold through the OnePlus India online store. The handset is expected to arrive in at least two configurations, featuring 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, supported by up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. According to promotional materials, the device achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 2.5 million points. It will also include the G2 Wi-Fi chip, a component previously seen in the flagship OnePlus 15.
The device will sport a 6.78-inch "Sunburst HDR" AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel is designed to reach a peak brightness of 3,600 nits and incorporates Aqua Touch 2.0 technology, allowing the screen to remain functional when used with wet fingers.
A standout feature of the Nord 6 is its 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which the company claims can provide up to 2.5 days of usage on a single charge.
