Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max in China, with sales starting on September 23, 2026. The flagship features a 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, dual 200MP Leica cameras and an 8,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Prices start at CNY 6,999.
Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max in China, with sales beginning on 23 September 2026. The larger sibling to the 18 Pro focuses on extended battery life, a bigger screen and enhanced performance while retaining the series’ emphasis on imaging.
The phone features a large flat OLED display with ultra-thin bezels and a bigger rear secondary screen. It is powered by Qualcomm’s highest-spec flagship chipset and includes a high-capacity silicon-rich battery with fast charging support. The Leica camera system receives dual 200-megapixel sensors, while cooling, software and durability features have also been upgraded. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch OLED flat display (2624x1208) using TCL M11 material, Super Pixel 2.0, 120Hz LTPO, peak brightness of 4000 nits and full-brightness DC dimming. It has a 2.86-inch OLED rear secondary screen. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset on TSMC’s 2nm process, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Cooling uses a 5513mm² ring-shaped cold pump system. It runs Android 17-based Surge OS 4 with Super AI 2.0.
The Leica triple rear camera includes a 200MP main sensor (1/1.28-inch, f/1.67, OIS), a 200MP periscope telephoto (1/1.56-inch, f/2.4, OIS, 3.2x optical, 12cm macro) and a 50MP ultrawide. The front camera is 50MP. Battery capacity is 8500mAh with 32% silicon content, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other features include Wi-Fi 7, UWB, IR blaster, X-axis linear motor, four microphones, an independent AI physical button, stereo three-speaker setup, IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings, thickness of around 8.39mm and weight of 235-240g. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is priced at CNY 6,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, CNY 7,999 for 12GB+512GB, CNY 8,999 for 16GB+512GB, CNY 9,999 for 16GB+1TB, and CNY 10,999 for the 16GB+1TB satellite version.
