Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company has officially launched the successor of its popular offering - Redmi Note 5 Pro in China and Indonesia. Dubbed as Redmi Note 6 Pro, the smartphone was initially launched in Thailand. Now, the company has introduced the device in Indonesia as well as China. The device is also rumoured to be launched in India by this month itself. According to the report from 91mobiles, the new Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone could be launched in India before November 20. Going by the leaked invite, it mentions that the smartphone will be launched in India at an event in Delhi and the date appears on the invite as '1_ November' along with tagline '2 is better than 1'. On the specification front, the new Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with resolution of 2280x1080 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC that is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB storage. For optics, the device packs a 12MP rear camera with dual-pixel phase detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. There is also 5MP snapper upfront on Redmi Note 6 Pro, which seens to be a downgrade from Redmi Note 5 Pro's 20MP snapper. The device runs MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 4000 mAh battery. Supporting a hybrid SIM slot, the smartphone comes with face unlock as well. For connectivity, the device also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE. The base variant (3GB RAM and 32GB ROM) of the new Redmi Note 6 Pro at IDR 2,899,000 (approximately Rs 14,300) whereas the bigger 4GB RAM version is priced at IDR 3,299,000 (approximately Rs 16,250).
