Zomato replied to the customer saying, ‘Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion’. Zomato’s response was widely praised on social media. Now, the Madhya Pradesh police have decided to initiate ‘preventive action’ against Amit Shukla, a resident of Jabalpur. Though no formal case has been filed, the police said it had taken suo moto notice of the Twitter post.
