Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 Unveiled by Legends Sachin Tendulkar and James Anderson Ahead of IND vs ENG Test Series

Sachin Tendulkar and James Anderson unveiled the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy 2025 ahead of the much-awaited India vs England 2025 Test series. The Anderson-Tendulkar trophy honours the contributions of two iconic figures in cricket-Sachin Tendulkar and James Anderson. The Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy features the signatures of both these cricket legends and the imagery of them in action. Earlier, India's Test series in England was named 'Pataudi Trophy' while England's Test series in India was named 'Anthony De Mello Trophy'. Going forward, the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy will be the name used for all future India vs England Test series. Earlier, the decision to retire the Pataudi Trophy, which was in honour of former captains Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi and his son, Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, had triggered a lot of backlash. The legendary Sachin Tendulkar then stepped in to ensure that the legacy of the Pataudi family is honoured. The Pataudi Medal will be presented to the winning captain of every India vs England Test series from now on. The IND vs ENG 2025 Test series starts on June 20.
