‘Anupamaa’ Actress Rupali Ganguly Files Legal Suit Against Stepdaughter Esha Verma, Seeks INR 50 Crore in Defamation

Anupamaa’ actress Rupali Ganguly has sent a defamation notice to her stepdaughter Esha Verma. Rupali Ganguly has sought compensation of INR 50 crore for 'maligning' her character & personal life. Ganguly sent the legal notice for the false and damaging statements made by Esha Verma. The notice mentioned that the step was taken to protect her reputation. The notice was sent by Rupali Ganguly's lawyer Sana Raees Khan. As reported by IANS, the notice mentioned that Rupali Ganguly underwent mental trauma due to which she had to seek medical assistance. It all started after Esha Verma’s post on social media went viral. In the post, Verma accused Ganguly of having an affair with her father Ashwin while he was still married to her mother.
