Gangster turned politician Atiq Ahmed said, “They are using court as an excuse to kill me.” 60-year-old Ahmed said this while he was being moved from a jail in Gujarat to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. Ahmed wanted the sentencing to happen by video conference in a kidnapping case. On March 28, Atiq Ahmed's sentencing in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case will be done. Atiq Ahmed is the main accused in the murder case of Raju Pal, a BSP legislator. The tragedy took place in 2005.
