Ayman al-Zawahiri, Al Qaeda leader, who was rumoured to be dead, appeared in a video released on the 9/11 anniversary. This comes 20 years after the horrifying terror attack on the United States. US-based SITE Intelligence Group reported that Zawahiri spoke on many issues. In the clip, Zawahiri spoke about a raid on a Russian military base by the Al-Qaeda-aligned Hurras al-Deen in Syria, which it claimed on January 1. Video introduces Zawahiri with "May Allah Protect Him.” Al Qaeda has made it clear that for them, the new Islamic Emirate is a victory. Ayman al-Zawahiri, succeeded Osama Bin Laden as the chief of the group. Osama Bin Laden was hunted down by US SEAL forces in Jalalabad in Pakistan. So far, intelligence agencies have produced no proof that Zawahiri is dead.
