Baghpat Nightmare: Family Wakes to 6-Foot King Cobra Hissing in Their Bedroom, Terrifying Video Goes Viral

A family in Chhaprauli, Baghpat district, Uttar Pradesh, awoke to terror when a 6-foot-long king cobra entered their home early Tuesday, July 8. Farmer Bijendra and his family were startled by loud hissing around 5 AM. Though Bijendra's wife initially saw nothing, their son soon spotted the massive snake in their bedroom. The entire family was stunned and terrified as the cobra reared up, hissing menacingly. They quickly fled their house and alerted neighbors. A video of the frightening encounter has since gone viral. While forest officials were contacted, local residents managed to capture the snake before the official team arrived and later safely released it into the forest.
