Bengaluru: Man Records Women Walking on Streets Without Consent, Shares Obscene Videos on ‘IndianWalk’ Instagram Account; Arrested

A 26-year-old man, Gurdeep Singh, was arrested in Bengaluru on Wednesday, July 9, for allegedly filming women on streets without their consent and uploading the videos on "IndianWalk" Instagram account. The issue gained traction after a college student shared her ordeal on Instagram, detailing how she was filmed inappropriately on Church Street. Subsequently, police registered a case and, with the help of a technical team, traced the Instagram account's IP address. Gurdeep was then from his residence in RK Puram, and legal action has been initiated to take down the illicit Instagram account.
