Farmers’ have called a Bharat Bandh on September 27. The Bharat Bandh call is to mark the first anniversary of the three controversial farm laws. This is part of their long protest against the three farm laws. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has supported the Bharat bandh. Congress, YSRC, DMK, Telugu Desam, Left parties, BSP, RJD have already extended support to the farmers. Farmers allege that the three farm laws will give power to private firms to take over the agriculture sector. Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of over 40 farm unions, is leading the 6 am-4 pm protest on September 27. Watch the video to know more.
