BSE Sensex Drops By More Than 1000 Points, NSE By 400 Points As Indices Suffer Worst Crash In Six Months

On October 28, Sensex fell as much as 1,366 points. Nifty 50 index dropped as much as 411 points. Domestic equity benchmarks witnessed their worst day in over six months. Sensex dropped 1,159 points or 1.89 per cent to close at 59,985. Cipla, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors, State Bank of India, Hindalco, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra & Wipro also fell between 2-3.6 per cent. Larsen & Toubro & IndusInd Bank were among the top Nifty gainers. Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Maruti Suzuki also gained. Watch the video to know more.
