Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday, July 23, presented the Budget 2024-25 in Parliament. In a relief for salaried class, Sitharaman raised standard deduction from INR 50,000 to INR 75,000 and revised tax slabs for taxpayers opting for the new income tax regime.
