CBSE Board Exams Date Sheet Explained: When Will Class 10, Class 12 Exams Begin? All You Need To Know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the date-sheets of its class 10 & 12 examinations on February 2. The exams are scheduled to take place between May 4 & June 10. This time, afternoon shift examinations have also been introduced for class 12 students. Students have been notified three months in advance of their exam schedule. According to a statement by the CBSE, this is to “reduce the stress of the students and help them in better preparation for their examinations”. The last paper for class 10 will be held on June 7 & for class 12, they will be on June 11.  While in 2020 the examinations had been conducted over 45 days, this year 75 class X papers and 111 class XII papers will be conducted over 39 days.
