Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak stars Deepika Padukone playing an acid attack survivor. The movie is based on real-life acid attack survivor, Lakshmi Agarwal. Chhapaak is a story that deserves to be told and highlights a cause that needs to be heard. Deepika Padukone is in fine form, and she helps us easily empathise with her character.
