Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) Needs A Revamp: Former Lieutenant Governor Of Delhi Najeeb Jung

Delhi’s former lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung said that the central government should make the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) inclusive to dismiss the public outcry against the law. He said, “I feel that Citizenship (Amendment) Act needs a revamp. They should either include Muslims or remove other names. Make it inclusive, matter will get dismissed. If PM calls these people and talks, the matter will get resolved.” Protests are going on in different of the country against and in support of CAA. It grants citizenship to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, Buddhist and Christian refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh who came to India on or before December 31, 2014
