Coronavirus Outbreak: List Of 80 Cities Across The Country Under Lockdown Till March 31

On March 22, the central & state governments decided to impose complete lockdown in 75 districts across the country where novel coronavirus cases have been reported so far. The lockdown will continue till March 31. Luv Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Health Ministry said, “The central government has asked the state governments of the 75 districts where positive cases have been found to stop all the services except the people providing essential services.” Eighties cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru are going into complete lockdown till March 31. Trains and metros have been suspended across the country. Inter-state buses have also been suspended. Markets, malls, cinemas, schools, colleges, gyms, swimming pools are already shut in most of the states. The number of confirmed cases in India has crossed the 390 mark.
