With Coronavirus cases on the rise in India, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has reached out to the private medical sector to install facilities to test for the infection. In a media briefing about the latest status of coronavirus in the country, ICMR Director General Balram Bhargava said the organisation is busy in laboratory expansion and as of now, there are 72 functional laboratories in ICMR system.
